ABOUT ME
I’m Gráinne.
A hormone nutritionist who helps busy, frustrated women escape hormone and metabolic chaos and feel like themselves again.
But that’s not how I started out.
MY STORY
By the time I hit my late 20s, I had a growing sense that something wasn't right. On paper, I was successfully running a 7-figure business, managing a team, driving growth, spinning all the plates. Behind the scenes? I was running on caffeine, adrenaline, and sheer willpower. Twelve-hour days, seven days a week.
No surprise I was exhausted and struggling to get pregnant.
Reluctantly, I went to my GP and was referred to a fertility specialist. I spent hours under fluorescent lights in sterile waiting rooms - bloodwork, ultrasounds, laparoscopies - hoping for answers.
One by one, the tests came back "normal."
I was diagnosed with idiopathic infertility (infertility of no known origin), and that's where curiosity stopped, and a treatment plan was put in place.
Something about it felt wrong. But I was tired, depleted, and desperate to start a family - so I signed on the dotted line.
To give myself the best possible chances, I started reading and researching around the subject, and eventually the penny started to drop as I connected the dots between my hormone levels and fertility, and my stress, diet, and lifestyle.
So I cooked more nourishing meals, took supplements, worked with holistic practitioners, began managing my stress, and learned how to delegate better.
A few months later, I started to feel like myself again.
My energy returned. I stopped needing sugar to get through the afternoon and wine to unwind.
I got pregnant on the first round of fertility treatment and thankfully had an easy pregnancy, birth and post-partum period.
So I retrained and built the practice I wish I'd had access to: a place for personalised, integrative hormone support - grounded in science, advanced testing, and compassionate coaching - and of course the radical (but true) idea that food and lifestyle are medicine too.
Food and Lifestyle are medicine too.
THE IDEA MY WHOLE PRACTICE IS BUILT ON
"I am 14kgs lighter, full of energy, with no signs of inflammation in my body. My digestion is better, my skin glowy and, apart from that, I have a great routine to balance out work and me time. What I appreciate most about Gráinne's approach is that it is scientific and personalised - the process, supplements, and food are tailored and personalised based on the results of very thorough tests, so responding to each individual's personal needs, from a holistic perspective. I wholeheartedly recommend it!"

Some more random facts about me👇
Qualities I admire in people; normalcy, vulnerability, transparency, honesty, kindness, people who don’t take themselves too seriously, quiet assuredness, expertise in any area, receptiveness and respectfulness.
I have a bad case of perfectionism. Negativity and alcohol are my kryptonite. I love dogs and good mayonnaise. I sometimes bite my nails. My favourite film is The Goonies. And one of my favourite comedy tv series is Arrested Development.
My sister is one of my favourite people. She’s a professional make-up artist, (@ciaradoesmakeup), who has worked with industry legends including Madonna, Gwendoline Christie and Cole Sprouse. And no, I didn't inherit any of her talents!
What I’d tell my younger self; don’t sweat the small stuff, trying and failing is better than not trying at all, your weaknesses will teach you your strengths, you will do a lot of work you’re proud of, listen to your mother - she’s full of wisdom!
I'm properly obsessed with medical dramas and true crime. In fact, if I ever have trouble sleeping, I’ll listen to the Crime Junkie podcast and that has me out in minutes. Unsurprisingly, the client cases that hook me are always the hard-to-crack ones.
I wanted to be a therapist from a very young age and thought studying Psychology was the route to that. Sadly I kept failing statistics, so I left university with a degree in Language Studies instead. I still haven’t found the lesson in that mistake.
